Apollo on-chain electrons a-go-go!
Because every Apollo is dancing electrons; solid sculptures full of movement and vibration.
The Apollo of Belvedere aka Pythian Apollo is a Roman recreation of the Greek Apollo circa 120-140.
This artwork uses a photogrammetric scan of a bronze Apollo in H. C. Orsted's Park, Copenhagen, Denmark.
This is itself a reworking of the original Roman reworking of the original Greek statue.
I used this scan for a digital artwork in 2020 by combining him with 8-bit video game imagery, and that artwork is at the centre of this piece, revisited, reworked & re-rendered.
-The best measurement yet of the lifetime of the electron suggests that a particle present today will probably still be around in 66,000 yottayears (6.6 × 1028 yr), which is about five-quintillion times the current age of the universe.-
